The Artist's Box Top is a versatile PDF pattern that comes in four size ranges rather than individual sizes. Sizes XS to M, sizes L to XXL, sizes 1X to 3X, and sizes 4X to 5X. The pattern comes with instructions on how to change the fit of the garment in case you are unsure of the boxy look and would like to make something more fitted. The pattern includes two neckline options, a color block option, and can also be made into a dress or peplum top. The pattern comes with digital stencils that are inspired by the work of Henri Matisse and you can download my free e-book “Print + Paint + Sew” for instructions on how to create your own hand painted version of the top using the stencils.

The Artist's Box Top is beginner friendly but offers options that even the most advanced sewers will have fun with. There is a separate file that includes extra instructions for complete beginners.

The digital download includes PDF files that may be printed at home on A4 or US letter paper as well as A0 files that may be printed at a local Copy Shop or online through sites such as Brooklyn Motif Printing. There are colored illustrations that accompany the instructions so that they are clear and easy to follow.
